Dragster #3 - "The Stuckey Car"

In 1965 GSTA took another of Tom Hoover’s hand me downs. This time it was a full bodied Rod Stuckey Car. From then on it was all Hemis. The car was repainted the first of the “Gopher Blue” colors in metalflake.The car did the job, as GSTA was the 1966 NHRA Division 5 Top gas Champion again! The car continued to run until 1976 as a training car in BBG/D. This effort made it possible for even more members to drive and crew on our racecars.
